Biography

Abercrombie Construction Safety Ltd. was founded by myself, Bryan Abercrombie in 2010. I believe that you should know who you are working with, here is a brief summary of my background.

1976-1979

Life started in the repair and maintenance of agricultural and contractor’s plant machinery for a small local company. Attended South Kent College of Technology (Ashford) gaining a City and Guilds qualification. I was awarded the prize for the apprentice of the year for my course.

1979-1988

I joined Dover Harbour Board as a maintenance engineer gaining experience of a very different kind working on a variety of equipment and vessels.

Had a secondment to the DHB project department supervising the construction of Number 3 roll on roll off ferry berth.

1988-1991

Started my Pfizer career as a maintenance engineer with completely new challenges having to work in hazardous environments.

1991-2010

I left the Pfizer repair and maintenance department to join the Pfizer Project Engineering Department as a Construction Supervisor. I was fortunate to be part of a multi-million pound expansion lasting for more than 20 years; I gained vital experience working on a vast array of construction projects from offices to highly technical, hazardous containment process plants.

2010

The beginning of Abercrombie Construction Safety Ltd. The cessation of manufacturing at Pfizer Sandwich presented my with the opportunity to bring the long held idea of ACS to life.
